Therapeutic Art Group: Zentangle/Mandalas: Diana Robinson and John Davis

Current Clients: Check with Areana and Angela about insurance coverage

This therapeutic art group for ages 16+ invites participants to explore healing, mindfulness, and self-expression through the creative practice of Zentangle and Mandala art. These structured yet calming art forms encourage focus, grounding, emotional regulation, and present-moment awareness while providing a gentle outlet for stress reduction and self-reflection.

Research continues to support the clinical connection between creative expression, mindfulness-based practices, and improvements in anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma symptoms, and overall mental wellness. The repetitive patterns and intentional design process used in Zentangle and Mandala work can help calm the nervous system, increase concentration, promote relaxation, and create a greater sense of inner balance and self-awareness.
No artistic experience is needed — only a willingness to slow down, create, and engage in a supportive and judgment-free environment.

From Survival to Stability: Toni Shearer

In recognition of PTSD Awareness Month, this supportive therapeutic and psychoeducational group is designed to help participants better understand trauma responses and learn practical ways to calm and regulate the nervous system. Many individuals living with trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, or overwhelming life experiences often find themselves stuck in “survival mode,” making it difficult to feel safe, connected, rested, or emotionally balanced.

Through guided discussion, grounding exercises, mindfulness techniques, body-based coping skills, and nervous system education, participants will begin creating a personalized “toolbox” of strategies to use during moments of stress, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, panic, or emotional shutdown.

This group offers a compassionate, judgment-free environment focused on increasing self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and healing while helping participants move from simply surviving toward feeling more steady, empowered, and connected in daily life.

Cost is dependent upon each individual’s copay, or $25 out of pocket for non-clients
