Therapist Spotlight: Rebecca Singer ![]()
Meet Rebecca Singer — a therapist with compassion, humor, and a love for helping others grow. ![]()
What inspired Rebecca to become a therapist?
Rebecca says she feels like she’s always been a therapist, even from a young age. “I really didn’t/don’t know anything else. I guess you could say I was born a therapist.” ![]()
Her favorite part about working with clients:
Rebecca loves helping others, but what she treasures most is how much she learns from every client she meets. She believes therapy is a shared experience where growth happens together, helping clients build confidence and self-compassion along the way.
Therapeutic approach she connects with most:
Eclectic Therapy ![]()
Rebecca believes many therapeutic approaches have value and enjoys tailoring treatment to each person’s needs — while also incorporating humor into the process because healing doesn’t always have to be so serious.
One of her goals this year:
Completing EMDR training and Level 1 certification.
Favorite way to practice self-care:
Curling up with her purring cats and reading while enjoying nature outside the window — birds, clouds, and peaceful moments included.
Favorites:
“Grumpy Old Men” & “Grumpier Old Men”
“The Five People You Meet in Heaven” — a powerful story with meaningful therapeutic messages.
Dream travel destination:
Alaska — especially by train with an open-top roof to see the stars, Northern Lights, and snow falling.
Fun fact about Rebecca:
Even though heights make her dizzy and nauseous… she absolutely LOVES parasailing and plans to do it again! ![]()
And the ultimate question…
